This video explains how to properly stretch all layers of the calf muscles.
In sports a lot of people are doing similar exercises but with the adaptations I explain here their effectiveness is much higher.
Just pulling at muscles is not really effective to let them release, you need to work with the intelligence of the body to have a deeper effect.
YOGA: use these stretches in down dog position to open calf and back of the leg in the deepest layers.
